At concluding function of MEMC week, several dignitaries stopped by our booth to talk with our senior consultants about how Dassault Systèmes’ mining solutions assist mining companies in meeting their objectives for sustainability and governance. There were demonstrations on Dassault Systèmes’ GEOVIA solution and its application for tactical mine planning, scheduling, production management, enhanced safety, predictability, efficiency and sustainability of mines. To speak on this disruption, Srikumar Maganti, General Manger – Technical was invited as a panelist in the discussion on “Indian EV Eco System – The Challenges & Opportunities in IAMS – International Automotive Manufacturing Summit 2022, 4th Edition, Pune on 20th December 2022. This was organized by Efficient Manufacturing. He emphasized on the value of Virtual Prototyping, Virtual Simulations and Collaborative Product Development through PLM practice for EV start-ups. Adoption of EVs and Constraints in the EV Eco system, streamlining of EV Supply Chain, Reliability and sustainability models for EV Start -ups was also discussed in the forum. The subject of Digitalization, Industry 4.0/5.0, IIOT and AI/ML role for Cleaner, Safer and Futuristic mobility was deliberated by fellow panelists during the panel discussion.

EDS Technologies conducted a Workshop on Application of Mine Planning Software in NMDC

EDS Technologies conducted a Three-day workshop on Application of Mine Planning Software from 20th to 22nd September, 2022. The Workshop was conducted in association with NMDC Limited. The Chief Guest of the event was Shri B. Sahoo and was attended by mining engineers, surveyors and geologists.

On the first 2 days, NMDC teams from different locations gave presentations on Application of Mine Planning software. Another session on Application of Geostatistics was done by Dr Kamlesh Rao. This was followed by Mine Process Flow presentation by EDS Team. New and updated features in Surpac and MineSched and how these will help improve the productivity of mining organizations were also discussed. The workshop was well attended and appreciated by NMDC team.

EDS Technologies organized a Technology Session on UAV Simulators in association with SIATI

EDS Technologies conducted a Technology Session on UAV Simulators on 16 September 2022. The session was conducted in association with Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) and was attended by dignitaries from defence public sector units and private aerospace & defence organizations.

The session had speakers from NAL and ADE who spoke on the importance of UAV, simulators and how they help in accelerating design and development of UAVs. The subject matter experts from EDST then spoke on UAV Simulators. This was followed by a hands on demonstration of the UAV Simulator wherein many of the dignitaries experienced the simulator technology.

MIT WPU signs up with EDS Technologies for Skilling

EDS Technologies signs up with Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (WPU) in the field of mechanical engineering and civil engineering for its students and researchers.

Through this partnership, EDST aims to skill the students of MIT WPU on the latest emerging technologies like Geographic Information System, Additive Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 along with CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM.

EDS Technologies, a leading technology solutions provider in India in the mining segment, participated with a stall at the National Mining Conclave organized by Mines Safety Association Karnataka on 12 and 13 Aug 2022.

The chief guest of the conclave, distinguished delegates from various Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) and top mining organizations in India visited our stall and held discussions with our senior consultants on how mining solutions from Dassault Systèmes helps mining organizations to achieve their sustainability and governance goals.
