WHAT’S NEW IN R2020X
Latest release opens the power of 3DEXPERIENCE® Platform to more users, and connects them to the 3DEXPERIENCE® model-based semantics e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor and Altium in addition to Creo and NX users.
All of Dassault Systèmes’ cloud customers were successfully and seamlessly upgraded to R2020x within a few hours of availability, and over the whole scope of the 3DEXPERIENCE offering.
R2020X release continues to extend Dassault Systèmes’ cloud offering – already the largest cloud offering in product innovation, experience, and beyond. Cloud users now get more manufacturing and production roles than on premise, and access to on-demand engineering services on the 3DEXPERIENCE® Marketplace.
R2020x also delivers additional browser-based breakthrough 3D capabilities across various complementary value streams, i.e. not just in 3D design with subdivision modelling among others, but in 3D marketing with photorealistic rendering in your browser, and in 3D Master and collaboration.
The promise of the holistic 3DEXPERIENCE® Twin, which requires that all digital product representations leverage the same underlying model, advances significantly. In manufacturing, repair and operations (MRO), the services item definition is now fully model based so that MRO can be performed using the 3DEXPERIENCE® Twin, including product configurations. Likewise, demand planning and the marketing product definition are now model based.
Breakthroughs in intelligence for business innovation in all industries are also delivered. For instance, the release leverages market-proven machine learning and Artificial Intelligence to improve the speed and accuracy of drug discovery.
Finally, 3DEXPERIENCE® R2020x significantly enhances the end-to-end Additive Manufacturing solution, which rests on the 3DEXPERIENCE Twin, from function-driven design, to optimized process, to realistic manufacturing, to bringing the model from Virtual to Real with the 3DEXPERIENCE® Marketplace.
