Shaping the Future of Rail with Digital Engineering and Technology
India’s railway sector is entering a new phase of growth, with digital engineering, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable technologies playing an increasingly important role in building a globally competitive and future-ready mobility ecosystem. EDS Technologies along with Dassault Systèmes recently participated in the 7th Conference on Railways Excellence, hosted by CII – Northern Region, bringing together key stakeholders from across the industry.
Representing EDS Technologies, Mr. Karthikeyan Varadarajan, CTO, EDS Technologies, joined the panel on “The Future Runs on Rail: Driving Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Technology & Green Mobility,” sharing perspectives on how digital transformation can enable more efficient, sustainable, and connected rail operations.
The conference provided a valuable platform for industry leaders to discuss how digital engineering, simulation, manufacturing technologies, and collaborative platforms can accelerate innovation and contribute to the next chapter of India’s rail ecosystem.
