EDS Technologies conducted a workshop in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur

EDS Technologies presented in a workshop on Blast Resistant and Antiterrorism Design of Structures Using Advanced Materials conducted by VNIT, Nagpur.

Narendra Palande, Application Engineer, EDS Technologies, presented a keynote on Blast Simulation with Abaqus Software. The keynote discussed Material Modeling, Meshing and Formulation, and Analysis Techniques and Output Request in Abaqus. The keynote dwelled on understanding the suitable building materials, their usage and simulation to build Blast Resistant and Antiterrorism Design of Structures.

The workshop was attended by students and faculties from various engineering colleges from in and around Nagpur. Dr. M. D. Goel, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Mechanics, VNIT and Dr. R. K. Ingle, Professor, Department of Applied Mechanics, VNIT also participated in the workshop.
