EDS Technologies participates in DEP Conclave 2020, Bangalore
DEP Conclave 2020 was hosted by Detroit Engineered Products for industry professionals from engineering, simulation and design departments to discuss the crucial role that CAE plays in faster product development and optimization.
Common CAE and engineering challenges were raised by the attendees leading to discuss how the latest DEP concepts, developments and solutions would address these challenges. EDS Technologies attended the conclave as the strategic partner of DEP Meshworks to interact with industry leaders, technical experts and customers on how to scale the challenges.
The event began with an overview of latest release of Meshworks 2020. Meshworks 2020 is the next generation engineering platform for faster product development with innovative tools such as morphing, concept works and early concept tools for an easier and faster concept development process. CAE modelling time is drastically reduced with parametric modelling, rapid meshing and automated model assembly.
The conclave included two insightful keynote sessions. Jayaraman Sivakumar, Director, General Motors Technical Centre India presented on ‘Efficacy of CAE in Product Development and Optimization’. B Girish, Deputy Project Director, Aeronautical Development Agency delivered the keynote on ‘CAE tools usages in Design, Analysis and Testing of LCA Aircraft Structure’.
It was a successful forum to encourage professional development, networking and information exchange on the latest CAE technology in the market.
