Gear Pair

The Simpack Force Element Gear Pair is a highly efficient analytical tool for modeling contact between gear wheels. It accommodates spur and helical gears (both internal and external), rack and pinion, and bevel gears. This element analyzes the impact of micro-geometries on meshing frequencies and allows for the investigation of non-linear behaviors such as backlash, rattle, and whine.

Drive Line Selection & Belt

Drive Line Selection 1 features a set of specialized Force Elements designed for driveline simulation, including Cardan Joint, Constant Velocity Joint, Differential Gear Box, and Planetary Gear Box.

Drive Line Selection 2 comprises elements for driveline simulation such as Cardan Shaft, Constant Velocity Shaft, and Gearbox Synchronizing.

Simpack Belt is a plug-in for simulating belt drives, utilizing a modal description that incorporates both longitudinal and lateral dynamics. It also models belt slip, and when combined with general Simpack Modeling Elements, enables users to integrate various tensioner systems.

Shaft Coupling

Shaft Coupling includes the Spline Coupling element, allowing users to model shaft couplings based on tooth contact with an involute profile. These couplings are commonly used to accommodate misalignment in torque transmissions.
