EDS Technologies participated in 11th edition of the conference on Automotive R&D Trends, organised by Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Centre of CII. The conference gave an overview on The rise of Technology adoption in the auto components manufacturing sector globally and its by-products such as mobility, connectivity, fuel efficiency, electric cars and autonomous driving, contributing to a huge playfield for Indian manufacturers to compete and innovate in the global market.

There were several prominent thought leaders speaking at this occasion. From EDS Technologies, Mr. V. Karthikeyan, VP-Technical presented on Trends in Digital Manufacturing and opportunities for Automotive Industries bringing in lot of Indian perspectives and the move to a connected and smart enterprise. “Live engineering plays a key role in manufacturing processes right from requirements, design and production”, he said. He also added how new businesses such as e-vehicles are evolving on adoption of intelligent product design in R&D and listening and providing instant feedback and taking informed decision based on a closed loop system.
