EDS Technologies is pleased to be associated with NBKRIST (NBKR Institute of Science & Technology, Nellore) for the faculty development program which was conducted in December 2018. The main objective of this program was to reduce skill gap between industry and academia and to ensure the faculties are well equipped with the current industry trends as well as to impart trainings on the skill sets in demand by industries. The skills sets focused during this program was on product development and validation using Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform with hands-on sessions. Thanks to the state of the art facility set up by the institute in collaboration with EDS Technologies, this Dassault Systemes Authorised Academic Certification centre has the latest technology solutions used by leading companies cutting across multiple industries.

The chief guest on occasion, Mr. Jagan Mohan G, Head - Operations, Amara Raja Batteries explained on how FDP programs have a major impact on overall skilling and awareness in the academia community thereby paving the way for young bright engineers to be made available in new transformation roles in industries. He also touched on platforms such as Industry 4.0 which is transforming the modern day industry. From EDS Technologies, Mr. Kaladhar and Mr. Chandrabose mentioned on how EDS Technologies was playing a key role in digital transformation of Industries and also getting these platforms implemented in engineering colleges across India. Faculties from lot of engineering colleges were present for this FDP program which was a major success.
