The highly interactive and easy-to-use application allows customers to create and test their own personalized luminary on Lumec’s Web site, http://www.lumec.com via a completely intuitive solution in only four steps:
- Choosing a category of product directly from a dynamic catalogue of SolidWorks models, as the application is perfectly integrated into Lumec’s information system;
- Selecting and personalizing the different components, benefiting from intelligent rules of assembly to verify each piece’s compatibility;
- Importing it into a variety of 2D contexts or 3D environments, giving the customer the ability to walk through the resulting environment, as well as test lighting in non-daylight conditions; and
- Saving the final configuration and emailing or printing the finished 3D presentation. The user can also automatically generate a detailed personalized specification sheet and an order code to be directly addressed to Lumec.
