1. How to automatically close Catia V5 session if it is idle for more than a specified duration.
Go to Tools -> Options -> General -> General -> Automatic Disconnection after 30min.
Check this option and set the appropriate time based on the need.
This option is effective for a setup having large number of users and fewer licenses where the utilization of the license could be maximum.
Note: This option can be set in admin mode to avoid users editing or disabling the option.

2. While using a Measure Tool, how to read the change in measured value as and when the driving dimension varies during a iterative process in 3D modeling?
Got to Tools -> Options -> General -> Parameters and Measure -> Measure Tools.-> Update
Check the update option in Part /Product according to the type of application.
Ex:
This rectangular block has a circular pocket of Dia 50mm.
The area of the highlighted surface is 11536.505mmSq
Now let us change the Diameter value to 60mm.
We could see that the area value is automatically updated.
