Abaqus provides analysis technology to solve the traditional implicit finite element analysis, including static, dynamic as well as thermal analysis, all powered with the widest range of contact and non-linear material options. Abaqus is also has optional add-on features and interface products that address the design sensitivity analysis, offshore engineering system, and integration with the third party software such as plastic injection molding analysis.
About the Event:
The session was taken by Mr. Abhijith Nair, who is an industry expert working at EDS Technologies Pvt. Ltd in the field of CAE and FEA. The objective of this session was to disseminate the information about ABAQUS and its applications,
This session was coordinated by Mr. Bhanu Prakash, Center Manager, Learning Division of EDS Technologies , Bangalore. The topics dealt in this session were introduction to FEA, Mathematical modeling of practical design problems, ABAQUS and its application for solving complex problems. The session was attended by around 20 people consisting of professionals from different organizations like M/s. Maini Precision, M/s.Altran Technologies, M/s. GM Technical Center and some of the budding Mechanical Engineers. The response received in the form of feedback was excellent. The participants exhorted that these type of sessions are to be conducted regularly for sharing the industry relevant knowledge .
