1. To view the thread definition in 3 Dimensional view go to [This is only available in V6]
Tools > Option > Mechanical > Part Design > Tick the Box Thread/Tap display
This automatically allows you to visualize all the thread definition in 3D Dimensions which is not possible in V5 or earlier version of CATIA.
2. Interesting Fact on V6 CATIA
Right click on the Status bar > Activate Immersive Virtuality > Select the type of view you want > Now make a 3d Part or product > Use a Anaglyph sterioscopic 3D glass > You can view the part with real time 3D effects
> After Immersive Virtuality Toolbar is active these are the options available
> After activating the Immersive virtuality this is how the Product looks when viewed with Anaglyph stereoscopic 3D glass.
3. Tools > Options > General > Immersive Virtuality > Tablet support > Activate Transformation Pad and gesture pad
(This option allows you to work with any TABLET and also can connect a Wecom with which you can build concept sketches in Natural Sketch)
Tools > Options > Immersive Virtuality > Enable stereoscopic display (Allows you to visualize entire CATIA with real time 3D effects).
4. Tools > Import > Select the file > Ok (Allows you to import V5 or V4 files with the features).
