Non-expert without advance optical knowledge have now an easy to use Graphics User Interface to create ideal polarizers (linear and circular polarizers, quarter wave plate and half wave plates) and to access polarization influence on optical system performance and/or products lit/unlit appearance.
Optical experts have now the ability to model actual polarizing components including their light incidence and wavelength dependencies and then to analyze polarization state and to evaluate polarization metrics.
This enhancement especially addresses both engineers and researchers designing display itself or product using display (phones, navigation system, HUD, …) from electronics, automotive, aerospace and defense industries.

Optis license having a version greater than or equal to V12.0 and associated to a contract under maintenance can be used with Optis License Manager 2013 and upper versions. Therefore the upgrade of license version is no more required when software version is upgraded.
