EDS Technologies organised one day workshop on "Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Design And 3D Modeling” in association with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore which was held on 5th August 2014.
The main objective of the workshop was to provide the practical knowledge on Dassault Systèmes products to the Academicians. This workshop will help them to train their students to innovate product development in dispersed, connected teams, as per the Industry requirement since this is the challenge they’ll be facing in the global economy. Dassault Systèmes provides academia with the same 3D modeling applications that have transformed industry practices – from Digital Mockups to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). These resources offer a broad range of design possibilities and enhance graduates' employability by giving them realistic industrial experience and up-to-date skills.
During inauguration Mr. Bhanuprakash Dixit Centre Manager – Learning Solutions,EDS Technologies mentioned about the support of the NMIT college for conducting the workshop. He also informed that, this workshop for the Engineering College Professors helps in dissemination of the information about the Dassault Systèmes products and how they are helpful in industries.The sessions were handled by Mr.Dilip,Mr.Abhijit naik,Mr.Abhinandan and Mr.Rajamanikam who are Technical Experts from EDS Technologies.
The workshop was attended by 20 participants consisting of HODs,Professors and Assistant Professors of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from the Engineering Colleges in and around Bangalore. During the valedictory program Dr.H C Nagaraj,Principal,NMIT College program exhorted the participants to reap the benefits of this workshop. He also advised the participants to share this industrial relevant information with the students to enhance their skills for career growth. He distributed the certificates to the participants.
