T-Systems, a software partner of Dassault Systemes is coming up with the latest version of their tool & die design solution – VAMOS 5.7.1

VAMOS is an application system which is completely integrated in CATIA V5. It is an ideal solution for the process chain of die design. It helps to create pre configured components viz dies, cams, standard parts and working units such as steels, buttons and punches.

VAMOS is developed in close co-operation with car manufacturers and suppliers enabling to respond flexibly to change and increases the efficiency of die manufacturing process. It is available in two modules - for the Conventional die design and for Progressive die design. With VAMOS, the designer is able to concentrate his know how completely on the definition of the numerical, geometrical or topological parameters. The actual modeling is done by the interpreter who reads the parameter description and generates the object automatically according to the parameter description.
