You can filter the Production rates data grid by resource

For a Surface scenario, in the Setup Schedule > Production tab, if you hover over a resource in the 2D Canvas, the rows related to that resource are highlighted in the Production rates data grid. If filtering selected on, and you click a resource in the 2D Canvas, only the rows relevant to that resource are displayed in the Production rates data grid. For an Underground scenario, in the Setup Schedule > Production > Stockpiles tab, whether filtering is selected on or off, if you hover over a resource in the 2D Canvas, the rows related to that resource are highlighted in the Production rates data grid. If filtering selected on, and you click a resource in the 2D Canvas, only the rows relevant to that resource are displayed in the Production rates data grid.

Enhancements

Create Schedule

The performance of datasets with large numbers of precedences is improved

Performance has been enhanced when you run the schedule for a scenario that includes a large number of precedences.

Issues Fixed

Publish Results

RESOURCE_TIME calculation fixed

Previously, the RESOURCE_TIME report code was not being calculated and displayed in Custom Reports. The RESOURCE_TIME report code is fixed, and correctly calculates the resource time used at the mining locations to output to Custom Reports.

The issue with the first title line of Custom reports being replaced with the location name is fixed

Previously, when you selected custom titles, the output for the first title line was the location name, regardless what you entered for the title line. This issue is now fixed so that the first title line displays whatever you define. To display the location name for the first, or any, line of a custom title you can use the [Location] keyword.

Export of incorrect scheduling solids is fixed

Previously, in some scenarios, scheduling solids were not being exported correctly when there was a difference in the case used in the "Filename prefix" and the name of the location. Now, the scheduling solids are created correctly regardless of the case used in the filename prefix and the name of the location.

Miscellaneous

Crash when rehandling material without setting targets is fixed

Previously, if you did not set a target for a plant but did choose to rehandle material MineSched could crash. Now, if you choose to rehandle material but do not set a target, MineSched will not crash.

Crash giving the error "The given key was not present in the dictionary" fixed, or handled without crashing

Previously, when you ran a schedule the intermittent error "The given key was not present in the dictionary" would appear and MineSched would crash. The issue is fixed so that the main issue causing this error is resolved internally in MineSched. Should the cause of the error still occur during the schedule run, the schedule will stop with a "Run aborted" message without MineSched crashing.

Crash when scheduling after updating a design file that contains duplicate headings is fixed

Previously, if you updated a design file that contained headings with the same start point and direction and then ran the schedule, MineSched could crash. This occurred because the duplicate headings caused errors during scheduling. Now, when you update a design file and the new file contains duplicates a warning appears notifying you of the data error, and lists the duplicate string and segment numbers. If you choose to continue, by clicking OK on the warning message, any new headings in the updated file are imported and the duplicate headings are ignored.

Issues saving and opening scenarios in which DTMs with empty objects have been loaded are fixed

Previously, if you imported a DTM that included "empty" objects, MineSched would allow the DTM to load without any notification, but the next time you attempted to open the scenario MineSched would close without providing an error message. This behaviour occurred because the scenario cannot be loaded with incorrect data, and MineSched cannot stay open without a valid scenario loaded. Now, when you try to open a scenario that contains an invalid DTM, a warning message appears and MineSched exits, either completely closing if no other scenario is open, or to a currently open valid scenario. In addition, if you use the "Save as" function to save a scenario to which you have added an invalid DTM with a different name, a warning message appears and the existing scenario remains open at the last save point prior to you loading the invalid DTM.

The SCHEDULE_DAYS calculation code is fixed

User calculations that use the report code SCHEDULE_DAYS are now correctly calculated in custom reports, and Dashboard reports and charts.

MineSched no longer runs prepare model unnecessarily after you change the time zone on your computer

Previously, if you changed the time zone on your computer, opened an existing scenario scenario, and ran the schedule, MineSched would run prepare model even if nothing had changed in the data model or related files. Now, when you run the schedule after changing the time zone on your computer, MineSched does not run prepare model unless something has changed in the data model or related files.

Define Geology

Crash when using a quality attribute named "tonnes" is fixed

Previously, if you were using a block model which contained an attribute named "tonnes", and updated a chart for any quality associated with the "tonnes" attribute in the Define Geology > Validate tab, MineSched would exit without warning. Now, you can use a block model attribute named "tonnes" in your scenario without any errors occurring when you update the charts for qualties associated with the "tonnes" attribute.

MineSched now validates the attribute names used to reference block model attributes

MineSched now performs a check to test that the attribute names referenced in the Qualities data grid exist in the model. This check occurs when you click "Extract from model" in the Material classes data grid on the Models tab, and when you click "Update" and "Update all models" in the Validate tab. If the name of any attribute referenced in the Qualities data grid does not match the name of an attribute in the model, MineSched displays an error message. If the unmatched attribute error occurs partway through running "Update all models" for a number of models, the models listed previous to the model in which the error occurred are updated and the models listed after the model in which the error occurred are not updated.

Create Schedule

The Delay and Comment columns were added to the spreadsheet view of the Precedences data grid

Previously, when you enabled the spreadsheet view for Precedences, the spreadsheet did not contain a Delay or Comments column. In addition, if you has entered comments in the Precedences data grid, changed to the spreadsheet view, and then changed back to the data grid, the comments were lost. Now when you use the spreadsheet view for the Precedences data grid, the spreadsheet contains the Delay and Comments columns, and the comments are maintained when you move between the data grid and spreadsheet view.
