| The event concluded while sharing presentation on Interactive tools such as the one available in Abaqus/CAE help in a judicious selection of proper material model based on the availability of experimental test data. Further, finite element simulations of rubber components usually involve complications arising from nonlinear material behavior, finite deformations, and continuously changing contact conditions between components.Several advanced and specialized procedures and techniques such as symmetric model generation, contact algorithms, harmonic vibration analyses, and gasket elements are available in Abaqus that greatly reduce the complexity, and thereby allow accuratesimulations to be performed on rubber components at a fraction of the computational cost.
