EDST hosts "Model & Simulate our Planet with GEOVIA" seminars in Goa and Raipur

The latest in the series of "Model & Simulate our Planet with GEOVIA" seminars were hosted in the cities of Goa and Raipur in November 2017. The seminars focussed on showcasing of software applications for geology & mine planning (SURPAC), mine scheduling (MineSched), strategic mine planning (Whittle) and how these could be harnessed for mine planning and scheduling for mining and exploration companies and consultants. This seminar provided a good platform for interaction and sharing of thoughts and ideas among users, department heads, organization heads from various companies, associations as well as geologists and technical experts from EDS Technologies and Dassault Systemes.

Participants from large mining companies, universities offering mining engineering and government bodies shared insights on future of mining industry and how this industry can leverage the software solutions to enhance the productivity of mines.
