EDS Technologies hosted "Model & Simulate our Planet with GEOVIA" seminar in Bhubaneswar

The latest in the series of "Model & Simulate our Planet with GEOVIA" seminar was hosted in Bhubaneswar, focussing on showcasing the technological advancements of software applications for geology & mine planning (SURPAC & Minex), mine scheduling (MineSched), strategic mine planning (Whittle) and how these could be harnessed by mine owners and mine operators. This seminar provided a good platform for interaction and sharing of thoughts and ideas among users, department heads, organization heads from various companies and technical experts from EDS Technologies.

Participants from large mining organizations and govt. bodies such as Directorate of Geology and Geological Survey of India attended and shared insightful information on future of mining industry during post-seminar discussions and how this industry could leverage the software solutions for better planning and productivity of mines.

The feedback from these engagements were very encouraging and we plan to hold multiple sessions of Model & Simulate our Planet with GEOVIA seminars in various mining hubs across India in next few months.
