CII organized a road show at RVCE, Bangalore on the 24th Sep 2016. The topic of the event was “Manufacturing Engineering as a profession for Graduating Engineers. The event started with CII Manufacturing Panel members, of which EDST is a member, interacting with RVCE Principal & Staff.

The main event was conducted at the auditorium filled with enthusiastic students. The event main focus was to address the students and faculty fraternity on the manufacturing scenario in India and globally and the umpteen possibilities for them. The students from various branches of engineering were present.

The eminent speakers from the Industries addressed the audience comprising of Students & Faculties. Mr. Karthikeyan Varadarajan, VP-Technical represented EDST & spoke on Digital Manufacturing, its future & possibilities for the graduating students. Rather than taking a traditional method of Podium speech, Mr. Karthikeyan was among the students and delivered his speech was a refreshingly different. Technology definition compared with real life examples, especially with a student life made the students understand complex things in a simple and easy way.

All the presenters made their speech tailored to suit the needs and address students, which comprised major share of the audience.
