The GEOVIA Community Conference is aimed at exploring technical concepts and strategies within the GEOVIA community & also to provide an excellent opportunity for all mining professionals to network, share knowledge and experiences in mining best practices. The conference also provides a forum for product users to engage with the Dassault Systemes & EDST team and find out what’s new in GEOVIA software.

EDST was the partner sponsor for the event. The event started with welcome address by Mr. Samson Khaou, Managing Director, Dassault Systemes India Pvt Ltd. Mr. Raoul Jacquand, CEO, GEOVIA, Dassault Systemes, gave conference opening address. There were insightful sessions from various industries on technologies and how various GEOVIA suites of solutions they are using helped them in their respective areas.

Mr. Pieter Neethling, Director, Centre of Excellence, GEOVIA, Dassault Systèmes spoke on GEOVIA Centres of Excellence. He spoke on how the Centers of Excellence host a centralized & credible team of global technical mining experts help customers achieves their business objectives.

Mr. Karthikeyan, VP – Technical, EDST & Mr. Pramod Kumar Sarangi, Technical Manager – Engineering Solutions presented on EDST services & value proposition to the Geovia Community. Mr. Karthikeyan also spoke on how EDST supports Indian Mining Industries.

The event had participation from various companies in the mining industry.

The conference worked out to be an engaging event wherein there were active interactions between speakers and the audience.

Mr. Prasanta Saha, GEOVIA Head, India GEO, Dassault Systemes India Pvt Ltd gave closing address. This was followed by a session for customer interactions with technical experts.
