EDS Technologies in association with Autodesk hosted a seminar on “Productivity Enhancement in Machine Design & Validation” in Chennai on 26th September. The seminar had participants from leading machine tools, special purpose machinery manufacturing companies & industrial equipment industry. Around 35 companies and 55 CAD/CAE professionals witnessed the event. Mr. Keerthi Malavooru, Technical Specialist - Manufacturing from Autodesk presented on ‘Autodesk Digital Prototyping Solutions’ and Mr. Mahendran, Technical Manager - EDS Technologies gave a live demo on Inventor 3D CAD software explaining how designers can reduce product design cycle time, cut physical prototyping cost, manage data and bring design rework rate down, optimize the design and validate through various analysis like Stress, Strain, Motion Simulation, Thermal Analysis and CAD Customization which helps industries to reduce design duplication time.
The objective of the seminar was to educate and create awareness on the latest technology of Autodesk Design & Simulation Solutions through which machine tool manufacturers can accelerate their workflow at faster pace right from Sketching, Product Design, Validation, Visualization, Data Management and Documentation under single platform.
