EDST Bengaluru organized a workshop on 2nd Feb 2017, titled "Improve the way you create, update & distribute product information", a technology session on CATIA composer. The workshop was held at the Jayanagar office attended by representatives from various companies.
Mr. Dilip Kumar, Asst. Manager (PLM Support) who spoke on how CATIA Composer helps in product communication such as Product Documentation, Technical Illustrations, Animated Assembly Instructions, Interactive Training & Service applications, Sales & Marketing Collaterals & how CATIA Composer helps in communicating product information more clearly.
The workshop at Chennai held on 2nd Feb 2017 was on DELMIA Quest, the Digital Manufacturing Solution from Dassault Systemes. The workshop titled Improve Logistics & Process Flow Automation using DELMIA Quest was delivered by Mr. B Sam Antony, Sr. Application Engineer - PLM.
Sam spoke on how Quest helps in Logistics & Process Flow Simulation, Reduce Inventory & Minimize Work In Progress (WIP), Optimize Space Utilization & Reduce Cost, Risk Determine Impacts of Facility Layout etc. The workshop had participants from the manufacturing engineering department of various companies in Chennai.
CATIA Analysis was the topic for the workshop at the Automotive Engineering hub of India, Pune. The workshop titled "Simulate Reality, Drive Innovation & Increase product quality with integrated CATIA V5 Generative Structural Analysis" was held on 3rd Feb 2017.
Mr. Swapnil Deshmukh, delivered the workshop that covered CATIA Integrated environment with Generative Structural Analysis, Pre & Post processing as well as integrated solver with automatic adaptation solution, Linear stress & modal analysis on Parts & Assemblies, Creation of compatible and associative mesh on Parts & Assemblies, Improve product performance and quality with Geometry associativity, Design optimization & Minimize design error to reduce subcontracting & development costs.
The workshop was attended by various industry representatives and was well received.
