The programs were part of technology workshop series in December at these three locations focusing on industrial applications.
The topic in Bangalore was on “Effective Assembly Management with CATIA DMU” which was steered by Mr. Samarth Chandrasekhar, Application Engineer. The workshop started with an Introduction to CATIA DMU, followed by introduction on various DMU modules including Navigator, Kinematics, Space Analysis, Fitting & Optimizer etc. The session also showcased the demo of these modules. This was followed by customer case studies. The workshop ended with Q&A session.
The Pune workshop was titled “Generative Part Structural Analysis (GPA) & Generative Assembly Structural Analysis (GAS) using CATIA V5”. It was conducted by Mr. Swapnil S Deshmukh, Application Specialist- PLM. The workshop started with a general topic on the need of Analysis & Finite Element Analysis (FEA) further moving on to specifics on CATIA Analysis covering GPA & GAS. The Q & A session was carried out post the main lecture.
The Gurgaon workshop titled “Unleash the power of Realistic Simulation” on SIMULIA was presented by Mr. Ajay Pathania, Application Specialist. The workshop started with an overview of realistic simulation. This was followed by elaboration on SIMULIA suite including Multiphysics capabilities of Abaqus, Tosca- the optimization suite, fe-safe - the durability suite and Isight & Simulation Execution Engine - Process automation and design exploration.
